Help Revelyn continue her dialysis and survive

My young friend, Revelyn Villanueva, is in dire need of a 2nd kidney transplant. The first one failed. Until then, she needs regular dialysis, or she can't survive.

Unfortunately, the government of the Philippines does not have good monetary support programs to help people in Revelyn’s situation. They have basically cut her off for now. She will be eligible for another kidney transplant in 2 1/2 years, but they won't pay for her dialysis in the meantime. This is a difficult situation.

If you can donate any amount, it would help her so much. If anyone would like to sponsor her on a regular basis, that would be amazing! Her monthly dialysis is about $500.

Through the generosity of donors, and the tenacity of Revelyn and her husband, Arnold, jumping through health care hoops in The Philippines, she was able to undergo a first kidney transplant. Arnold selflessly donated a kidney to her. Sadly, the transplant was a failure.

In September 2020, she was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. Her doctors say that’s rare in someone so young, and they can only surmise that her hypertension was a possible cause.

Not only is Revelyn a talented singer who has entertained thousands of people around the world with her beautiful voice, she is also a genuinely kind and generous person. She is one of those performers who loves what she does and worked tirelessly seven days a week for up to six months at a time in order to support her parents back home.

When the pandemic shut down her industry in early 2020, Revelyn’s promising career, her source of income, and her medical insurance all abruptly ended.
