Save Recycled Rotts: Help Us Pay Vet Bills
Tax deductible
My name is Lori Danner and I have been a longtime volunteer and member of the Recycled Rotts, Inc organization for the last 25 years. This rescue has been my saving grace and passion all of these years, and my support and involvement has been my way of giving back to a selfless and amazing organization that has saved thousands of innocent lives, those that would have otherwise been lost senselessy, because of awful human beings. Evil does exist friends, and I wouldn't wish anyone to see and experience what I have seen throughout my time with this rescue.
I am simply heartbroken that this life saving rescue is being faced with the very real possibility of closing down, and no longer able to save the ever increasing number of sweet souls that need help. The numbers of those is need is simply staggering, and those of us in the rescue community are overwhelmed and just sad. In all of my years, it has never been this bad. It sometimes feels like we are draining the ocean with a spoon. BUT, for those dogs that we CAN help, it is everything.
I am committed to doing whatever I can to help raise money to pay off the outrageous veterinary hospital bills we are now grappling with, which is $40,000 +!!! Vet care, along with everything else today, has skyrocketed, and we are drowning. We cannot say no to an innocent animal in need, and as a result of diminished donations, taking in animals with SEVERE medical needs, and the sheer number of animals in need from shelters and owner surrenders, we need help to continue our mission.
While I am not naive to think that my $40,000 goal is likely attainable, every single penny helps! I am hoping all of my animal loving family, freinds and fellow rescuers will help me in this mission, and share this GoFund me with everyone you know. I promise you, Recycled Rotts is worth saving, and innocent 4 legged lives depend on us.
Please help us continue to help THEM. Without us, the abandoned, abused, helpless and homeless rottweilers and mastiffs in the Chicagoland area, and all of the other state shelters we pull from, will not have a chance.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
