Save Reach for the Stars Preschool in Ridge

Reach for the Stars Preschool is a family owned and operated preschool and daycare serving Ridge, Long Island since 2001. Privately owned and operated by Jennifer Villacci, Joe Villacci, and Dawn Dorsa, this family business is exceptional and loving. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they will be forced to permanently close their doors if they cannot pay all of the fees that were still being asked of them from the state, regardless of how they weren’t open during the pandemic at all. Between lawyer fees, rent, maintenance, and countless other finances, Reach for the Stars needs everything humanly possible to help them. It’s sad to see the government bailing out big businesses but never helping “the little guy.” I can tell you from personal experience, that I had trouble trusting anyone to care for my three young daughters, especially since my middle was born with a rare metabolic disease and had a liver transplant at birth. They were ready to care for her, along with my two other girls, with open arms, love, and endless support. Everyone that has sent their children here has had only wonderful things to say. The staff have gone above and beyond to help each of their families over the past 19 years. We as a community need to support our small businesses and protect them during this time.
