Hi, my name is Ericka and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Christina and her dog, Rascal.

Earlier today, little Rascal was outside going potty when he ran back limping in pain. He was rushed to the vet only to be told it could be a torn ACL even though my friend Christina had been suspicious of a possible snake bite. He was sent home after being given pain medicine. Later in the day his leg began to swell up and start bleeding. Christina had to leave work and rush him back the the vet ER where they confirmed he was bitten by a snake. He is in critical need of emergency care and antivenom treatment.

Antivenom is lifesaving, but it is very expensive. The cost of the anti venom alone is estimated to be around $5,000. Without it, Rascal is at risk of losing his leg or even his life.

Rascal is more than just a pet. He’s family. He brings so much joy, love, and companionship to everyone who meets him. He is a fluffy energetic goofball and lives up to his name! He has been a faithful companion and emotional support friend to Christina after the passing of her dog, Dude. For those that don’t know, she has had a rough couple of weeks and can’t seem to catch a break. She’s a hard core animal lover and always puts them above herself.
