Help Save R2D2 – Our Beloved Adventure Dog

Our sweet boy, R2D2, is fighting for his life right now at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital. He’s only 3 ½ years old and usually full of energy-running trails, chasing waves at the beach, playing hide and seek at home, and most of all, being Gus’s best friend and constant companion.

Over the last several days, R2 hasn’t been himself. This morning he declined so quickly that we had to rush him to the emergency vet, where doctors now believe he may have a serious infection that needs extensive treatment. He’s receiving critical care, but the costs of diagnostics, hospitalization, and treatment are overwhelming.

R2 isn’t “just a dog” in our family-he’s family. Gus picked him out as a puppy and proudly gave him his Star Wars name, and the two of them have been inseparable ever since. Watching R2 play with Gus, guard him, and snuggle up after long adventures has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

We are doing everything we can to give R2 a chance to recover, but we can’t do it alone. If you are able, please consider donating toward his emergency care. Every dollar helps us keep fighting for R2 and bring him home to the boy who loves him most.
