Our neighbor is Mohammad Farhan. He was born and raised in Kenosha, the son of immigrants who came here in 1972 with only $30. His father worked for American Motors/Chrysler for 35 years, and taught him that to achieve the American dream he would need to work hard, be dedicated and learn to sacrifice. Mohammad dreamed of owning his own business in order to contribute to his city/community. His dream came true in 2014, when he opened "Pipes R Us". A proud small business owner, he formed many friendships with his valued customers. On August 23, 2020, Mohammad's business was the victim of the Kenosha riots. In minutes, they looted and destroyed the entire contents of his store. He and his wife spent the night in his store fighting off arsonists once the looting was done. He is without income as a result, and is financially responsible for his family of 6. Moe is a supportive community member and wants to rebuild. I hope you will help him rebuild his American dream.
