My name is Reesha, and I am raising funds for Syed Qasim Ali, the husband of my best friend Zeba, and the loving father of their 11-year-old daughter, Ayesha.

Just a few weeks ago, our lives changed forever.

Qasim was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The cancer has already reached his lymph nodes, and his doctors in Pakistan have warned that immediate treatment is critical to stop it from spreading further.

Melanoma at this stage can still be treatable — but only with advanced immunotherapy — which is extremely expensive and far beyond the family’s financial capability.

The Only Hope: Lifesaving Immunotherapy

Doctors have recommended immunotherapy, one of the most effective treatments for melanoma.

But in Pakistan, each dose costs:

$2,500–$4,000 CAD per dose

He needs 17–21 doses over one year

Additional tests, scans, surgery, and follow-ups add even more cost

Total estimated cost: $40,000–$60,000 CAD

This amount is impossible for the family to afford.

They have already spent everything they had on diagnostics and surgery.

Qasim’s 11-year-old daughter, Ayesha, asks her mother every day:

“Mama, when will Baba get better?”

“Will he be okay?”

He has always been a gentle, hardworking, humble man who lives for his family.

He dreams of watching Ayesha grow up, finish school, and build her own future.

He is only 57.

He has so much life left to live.
