This is pumpkin, he's 10 months old and today he was knocked down outside our house. Pumkpin is the sweetest cat I've ever met, he is a favourite in the estate and plays with all the kids young and old and never lashes out , he's a regular in the neighbours windows and wants to be everyone's friend. He is currently sedated in the vet in Ballivor, Co Meath after been knocked down by a car and left to die, somehow he dragged his little body home. He has two displaced back legs and needs orthopedic surgery a regular vet can't perform and only a handful can. The surgery will involve pins and fusion and be a six week recovery that he will make a full recovery from. We have received quotes from 2 of the 3 veterinary practices that can preform the surgery one for €2800 and €2400 the only other option is to put him asleep. Unfortunately the fees have to be paid immediately, I am hoping to raise the funds to save his life. He's owned by my two sons Casey 13 and Billy 8. He is best friends with our yorkie Charlie and we also own his mam Izzy, his sister Millie and brother Sonnie. He is so loved and the best most loving kitten with a big personality. With the help of "Last hope Animal Rescue" we have managed to get Pumpkins care and surgery for €1200.

Pumpkin is at home awaiting surgery confined to his cage on strong painkillers trying to keep him as comfortable as possible until surgery. He's happy to be home and is a little bit brighter but has no use of his back legs.
