Hello, we're the owners of Precious. Our names are Mackie and Ashlynn. I (Mackie) have had Precious since she was eight weeks old, and she is now seven years old. She is my PTSD dog and helps me through a lot of my trauma.

We had planned on taking her to a low-cost spay/neuter facility until she was diagnosed with seizures. Today, 7/18/25, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now has to have an extended spay, removing the entire left mammary chain. With the spay needing to be more extensive, plus needing to do additional bloodwork, x-rays, and the mammary tissue removal, plus any additional costs that could happen during any surgery, we just don't have the funds to pay for all of it. The mammary tissue removal alone is over $1k, the spay is over $400, plus the follow-up check-ups that would be needed...
