Please help us raise money for Pooja’s medical bills. It started with a minor skin condition that we thought would get better, but now the vet is saying that she has anemia that could be caused by a blood-borne parasite. The vet also said another test showed that Pooja’s heart muscle is under more stress than normal. She’s only five years old.

We’ve already started Pooja on flea medication to help with the anemia/prevent disease, topical treatment for her skin, and a general antiparasitic medication, but she’s only gotten worse in the past few days. At this point, she’s also going to need an X-ray, more blood tests, and whatever medications they prescribe her afterward.

We’re trying everything that we can, but Pooja keeps getting worse. She just lays in one spot all day and has really shallow breathing. We might have to take her to the emergency vet if she continues to get worse. This is my girlfriend’s first cat, and we want to do as much as we possibly can, but we don’t have the income to support her medical bills. If you can spare even just $2, it’ll help us a lot.
