Hello. My name is Mark Ian Allen. I started this GoFundMe to raise the emergency funds I need to bring my beloved bunny, Poof, to the emergency vet, as I am just struggling financially after just paying my rent.. she is having a rectal prolapse, due to some paper bedding that she had eaten that did not digest properly in her stomach. It was not due to neglection. It was due to a digestive backup, which is common with bunnies, but she ended up going to the bathroom too many times where it has matted to her skin and ended up, causing abrasions and leaving her skin exposed. The emergency vets are saying I have to bring her in as soon as possible or it can be life-threatening. The cost for the emergency veterinarian fee is $260. Plus any applicable medication’s that she may need afterwards. I did not get approved for the credit and financing options, so this is kind of a last resort for me, but this sweet baby bunny has been in my life for five years. She was left with me by my ex and although at first, it felt like an obligation to look after her I quickly fell in love with her. She is my whole world, my baby. I’ve had her since she was a small little bean. I’ve set the goal for $300. Anything helps, as I am desperate. I work a full-time job and live alone and don’t necessarily have other means of financial help as far as family or friends go so I am coming to the Internet for assistance.
