Hi - Our names are Layla Kurbanov (17) and Peyton Jelinek (15).
100,000 horses are slaughtered each year. We found a Facebook page showing horses and mini ponies that are being abused and are in the kill pen. They were waiting to either be bailed out or slaughtered. Both of us saw two mini ponies that we instantly knew we had to save.
Unfortunately, this is very expensive. Our parents have given us permission to do this however are giving little to no financial help. We have money saved up but need to gather a lot more in order to help these mini ponies. All money will go towards paying for the shipping, boarding, vet and farrier care, etc. We will NOT be using donation money to pay for the bail of the horses. Cost for bail is payed by us. Donation money is solely used for the factors listed above.
Even though we are only saving 2 out of 100,000 horses that go to slaughter every year, we are asking you to help us. Every dollar counts.

Trixie - she was described as a nervous horse. Was ridden by many people who were too big for her.
