Save Pita's Life: Emergency Surgery Required
Donation protected
Hi everyone. This is Pita, my very first puppy. I can’t even describe how much this dog means to me. I had wanted a dog so badly, that I wrote an 8 page essay to convince my parents to let us buy one. He’s been there for me for the past 8 years, through every sickness, achievement, and dinner (which he makes himself apart of by begging for food the entire time). Last year, we lost our even younger dog, Buza, to a sudden rupture in his stomach. In the span of a few hours he was gone, and we never even knew anything was wrong with him. It was devastating, and now, only a year later, Pita faces a life or death surgery. Pita’s kidney stones are too large to remove the non-surgical way, and he’s at the point where can no longer urinate and needs immediate surgery. There are two procedures that need to be done to remove all the stones from both his urethra and bladder, and considering it’s an ER surgery, the cost is quite high, with a starting price of $6,000, yet they said it could cost more because it’s an emergency surgery. My parents are stuck with a very hard decision- but as Pita feels like my child and personal responsibility, I knew I needed to do something, and so I’m here. There are obviously more important people and things in this life than Pita, but if you’ve ever had a pet, you know that they become a part of your family. I can’t fathom that we could loose Pita too right after Buza- they were/are both too young. So I’m asking, if you have anything to give, even $5, please help save Pita. He’s the sweetest, smartest most deserving dog of our help and to see him deteriorate would be devastating. Thank you all so much.❤️
