Julia here. I’ve set this GoFund Me up for my girlfriend Shay and her baby Pippa. We found out recently that Pippa has a bullae in her lung, which is like a little air bubble. It could burst at any moment, so we have been recommended to have it surgically removed. If not removed in time, her lung could deflate, and Pip would have to be euthanized without being able to afford this life-saving surgery. If you know Pippa, you know how much she means to Shay. Shay has done everything for this little dog to be happy and healthy such as getting jobs where Pippa can be with her 24/7. She’s dedicated her career to helping other pets and pet parents in veterinary oncology, and now she needs that help in return. The fundraising would go towards the estimates posted as the last picture, and post-op rechecks not included in the estimate. The CT will be done separately through my job and the surgery would be done at Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Tustin.

Pippa is Shay’s entire world and has been with her since 2019. Shay took her home when a former client at her last job was no longer able to care for her. Many of you might have met Pip in her stroller at meetings or out and about anywhere Shay is. The end goal is to ensure Pippa is given a fair chance at life and does not have to face euthanasia if she has a full chance at recovery.
