Since early 2023, my cat Phoebe has been struggling with clogged anal gland issues that are unique to cats. She’s had to be hospitalized on occasion due to the infections, she’s had monthly visits for maintenance and she’s gotten numerous antibiotic injections to help aide with swelling and drainage. We are now at a point where these things no longer work and her veterinarian has advised that a surgical procedure is imperative in the next few weeks to save her quality of life. As everything we’ve done has been quite costly already, we are struggling to come up with the remaining $2,000 to cover this surgery.
