My name is Amada and I rescue abandoned and stray cats with the hope of them growing healthy and finding loving homes. This sweet girl, Petunia, came into my care at 2 weeks old after responding to a call about a kitten who needed immediate intervention due to an eye infection. Had she not been rescued, she would have most likely gone blind and not survived outside without any human intervention.

Petunia has been in my care ever since, and I have loved and nurtured this sweet girl who is now about 11 months old, covering any and all expenses needed. While I love helping the animal community, the eye surgery deemed necessary by the veterinarian to correct her eyelid costs about $3,400, which is more than I can cover.

Sadly for Petunia, in the almost year she has been with me, she has missed several chances of being adopted because of her eye condition. Any potential adopters reject her once they learn about her medical eye condition, another reason why this surgery is so necessary for her.

She is so loving, sweet, and would make an amazing addition to a family.
