This is for Petrie. He just turned one, and I adopted him from PACC about four months ago. Petrie got bit by a rattlesnake the other day, and we could only afford one dose of the anti-venom. He has only gotten worse since we brought him home from the vet. The leg that got bit is incredibly swollen and purple, and his other leg has started to swell as well. We are so worried this could turn into internal bleeding. He developed a lump on his stomach, and we think it might be a fluid buildup. When I adopted Petrie, I had the intention of giving him the best life possible because he had been returned to PACC by five different homes. We have created a bond, and I don't want to lose my baby.
