Please help Pepper!

This sweet boy was adopted by my grandparents about a month ago. Last night, they heard him crying and found that he had gotten tangled in the mesh underneath the bed. He had almost suffocated himself, and in the process, he ended up breaking his leg and tearing every single tendon in his ankle, leaving his foot to dangle. Pepper now needs surgery and multiple pins and screws in his leg, with a long recovery ahead of him. My grandparents are retired, and the hospital bills are severe for this poor boy.
