Our sweet girl Pebbles has suffered a serious eye injury, and despite our best efforts, it’s now clear that she’ll need to have her eye removed. We’re still not sure how the damage happened, but her condition has worsened over the past few weeks. I’ve included photos showing the progression, along with an older one of her happy and healthy.

This couldn’t have come at a more difficult time for our family. In March, I had to undergo a second neck fusion surgery in less than two years. I was out of work for a while and only receiving 66% of my usual pay, which set us back financially in a big way. We’ve been doing everything we can just to keep our home, and now Pebbles needs urgent help.

I’m working full-time and have even picked up delivery jobs in the evenings, but it’s still not enough to cover the cost of Pebbles’ surgery in time.
