Save Peanut from Pain: Donate for Surgery
Donation protected
Peanut broke his leg a few years ago, and we struggled to gather the money for his surgery. I worked as hard as I could to save up the money, and thanks to the help from everyone who donated, I was able to get the procedure done. The healing process was long and hard, but eventually, he got better and was able to run and play again.
Unfortunately, it has gotten worse over time. I took him back to a local vet for them to see what was going on with his leg, and they requested the paperwork from the vet who did the surgery. Come to find out, they never informed me that there was a pin in his leg that would have needed to be removed down the line. Since I was unaware and we were under the impression that he was in the clear, nothing was done, and now the pin has made its way into his joint.
At one point, his leg was almost back to normal and looking healthy. Now, it's small and he is basically unable to use the leg at all. It causes him a great amount of pain when he plays for too long or in the winter when it's freezing cold. I cannot currently afford to get the pin removed (if his leg is salvageable) or amputate it for the sake of taking away the pain. Please, if you can afford to help, donate to his fund so that we can get our little Nutter Butter back in good condition so that he can live his life how he should be able to without the pain.
