Save Party Animals; a children's art center

Hello, my name is Steven Witten and I am the owner of Party Animals, a children’s activity center located in the Palisades Mall in Nyack, New York. I have created this Go-Fund-Me page because I am being forced out of my location at the mall by the 7-Eleven Corporation.
Yes, you read that right. The owners of the Palisade Mall have chosen to not renew my lease so they can rent to a higher-paying corporation, 7-Eleven.

Party Animals has been dedicated to providing an old-fashioned creative environment for children from ages 1 to 8. I purchased the business last year with the vision of getting kids off the Internet, off their smart phones, and get creative through hands-on arts and crafts activities. My store lets kids make things--and make a mess of things.

My store featured electric and manual animal rides, face painting, sand box, sand art, several painting activities, story time, stuffed animals, musical instruments, a private birthday party room, and a bouncy house.

The Palisades Mall management has offered me a smaller space, but that space will have to be renovated and my inventory will have to be moved into storage while the renovation takes place. I don’t have the money to close up for a month and do the necessary renovations. I’m in danger of losing my business.

The loss of my store will not only be a financial loss to me but also a loss to parents who want a wholesome play space that doesn’t put kids in front of a screen. There’s no better feeling than seeing a child’s eyes light up when you give them a complement about something they made with their own hands.

I’m reaching out to the Nyack and the Go Fund Me communities. We need financial help to renovate, advertise our new location and move in.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up by Friends of Party Animals to help me through this transition.
List of financial needs:
· Moving and storage: $5,000
· Renovation of new store location: $15,000
· Advertising: $5,000
· Total need: $25,000
If you believe in supporting the arts for young children, please consider helping keep my business and dream alive. Thank you.
