Hi friends,
We’re reaching out because we need help funding a life-saving surgery for our filly, Ozzy. Our 3-month-old filly came up suddenly lame—and after urgent vet care and X-rays, we got the heartbreaking news that she has a fractured elbow (an olecranon fracture).
The good news is that with surgery, Ozzy has a strong chance at a full recovery. The bad news is that the surgery will cost $8,000–$9,000—and we’re still recovering from a recent string of unlucky vet visits.
Ozzy is truly one of a kind. She’s sweet, brave, curious, goofy, and absolutely full of life. Even now, in pain, she’s still trying to nibble our sleeves and play. She’s got the biggest heart and the funniest personality, and we want to do everything we can to give her a future.
We know this is a big ask, but any amount helps—truly. Every dollar gets us closer to the care she needs. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this with your horse-loving friends or rescue circles.
Thank you so much for supporting Ozzy—we’re so grateful for every bit of kindness.
With love and hope,
