After years of planning and effort, some of the best people I know in the world, Jess, Jason, and Ashleigh, are at risk of closing their brewery. Jason, a caring and generous soul, had been brewing for years, but it was only just last year when he was able to channel it into more. Jess, his wife, along with his sister Ashleigh, made the brewery come true with their organization and creativity. With their love of craft beer and music driving them, they founded Over Yonder Brewing Co., a simple, low-key place, where you can bring your dog, sit in the sun on the patio, and enjoy the sounds of Phish and tons of other great musical experiences. One can take a hike near Red Rocks and afterwards, stop in to enjoy one of Jason’s creative seasonings. Like many other businesses, Over Yonder Brewing (OYB) is suffering due to the effects of COVID-19. All of their employees were furloughed, as they couldn’t be paid. Connections continue (socially distanced) as everyone at OYB have positive working relationships and miss the OYB environment and each other. Over Yonder is trying to work on staffing the whole crew back. They are staying open with loans and with minimal sales but their major income comes from in-person beer sales. At this juncture, their brewery is at risk.
Raising some money, just to help Over Yonder Brewing Co. get by, is one of the goals of this GO-Fund Me. This money will specifically go straight to OYB to manage the overhead costs involved with staying open. Without this new landmark brewery, so much would be lost. Being so close to Red Rocks, with is currently closed, they don't get the traffic driving by. With oversaturation in this market, it’s already rough out there. I want to give them a chance, just to make it through May. If you can help, even with just a $5 donation, it would make a huge difference. We all would be so grateful.
