Save OurLand - for people, elephants, and earth
Donation protected
Over the past five years, OurLand has established Thailand’s first privately managed nature reserve, built a sustainable eco-village running on solar panels and biogas, and created a novel form of immersive environmental education that has impacted thousands of students and individuals, both locally and globally.
The property of the reserve was leased with the intention to purchase in the future but the owners now need to sell the land imminently.
OurLand, as a concept put into action, will always persist and grow, but to lose all that has been built in the past few years would be a devastating loss that may not be possible to fully recover from.
Purchasing the OurLand property would protect a nature reserve made up of a dynamic secondary forest and critical habitat for the surrounding elephants and other endangered wildlife; it will preserve an eco-village that has grown into a model for sustainable and harmonious living with the surrounding ecosystem; and it will build on an education center that helps students and communities connect with the world around them and empower them to take actions to protect it.
The ripples of OurLand’s actions, ranging from addressing plastic pollution to human-elephant coexistence to organic farming and agroforestry, have had far reaching effects in the communities they serve. This organization has grown to be a pillar in their area, serving the people and environment equally.
OurLand represents a more hopeful and sustainable future for all of us, and it is that future which we ask you to support now, in any way you can.

*We are starting with a goal of $24k - this is one fifth of the total amount needed to purchase the land. If we can reach this amount in the next few months we will have enough to hold the property, allowing us more time to raise the rest of the needed funds.
