Help preserve our Church!
Mother of Divine Mercy Parish, comprised of both Sweetest Heart of Mary Church and St. Josaphat Church, must raise $2.8 million to repair and restore the double spires atop the Sweetest Heart of Mary steeples; restore and stabilize the impressive and gorgeous stained glass windows; and replace the church roof that covers a massive 36,744 square feet. Work already is in progress on the interior of both spires and then exterior work will commence.
Please help us reach our goal with a meaningful contribution to "Restore Sacred Detroit" for generations to come! Our Polish ancestors made many sacrifices to build these exquisite Houses of God that continue to inspire a multitude of people who visit our churches from throughout our entire region and beyond. We need your help to secure these magnificent structures that never can be duplicated so we may preserve historic Detroit architecture and priceless destinations of Catholic worship and sacred art.
