Thick snow and freezing temperatures today at the shelter.

We need to keep trying to raise enough for the damaged block. The roof repairs are needed asap to keep the dogs warm and dry.

Please keep sharing, our dream is to reach the 8k goal. If feels a lifetime away. We just need to keep our dogs safe, happy, warm. Some dogs are sanctuary and won't ever leave. Thank you

Hello everyone, thank you for reading our desperate plea for help. We are a UK registered non profit dog rescue. Number 16042020.

We have been helping one shelter in DEVA Romania for 14 years, we have rehomed hundreds of dogs, all sizes and ages into the UK and Europe.

We take the dogs from kill shelters, without us they would be brutally killed. We are a small organisation but have made a huge impact in this one area. We have neutered hundreds of dogs to eradicate the stray population over the years.

Sadly one of our kennel blocks that can hold 20 dogs has been severely damaged in the recent storm. A huge tree has damaged the roof and surrounding fencing. One dog was injured but has now made a good recovery. This block is now out of action, the 20 dogs were moved within the kennels that we have made to a good standard over the years.

224 dogs live in our shelter, they are loved, have full vetinary care and they call it home. ❤️

We are now at a point where we can't help any dogs that sit in the kill shelter We have zero room and no quarantine area.

We have now exhausted all our funds, but we need this block and the remaining mud floor kennels cemented. We pride ourselves the dogs call the shelter home.

To rebuild the area will help the dogs live in comfort and save more innocent lives. We have many old dogs, behaviour dogs who will live with us forever. We are strictly a no kill rescue. We treat every dog as our own pet.

Our UK volunteers fly to Romania every 2 months to help the team over there. They fund their own travel etc. We welcome anyone to come with us.

Our funds at the moment have to be used on food and vet care. Temperatures hit -20 we need full tummies to help keep the dogs warm, they all live outside.

If anyone could help us to get our kennel block back up and running so we can continue saving lives we will be very very grateful. We have permission to build but zero funds.
