My darling younger sister Sarah is now on the biggest journey and fight of her life. A very recent and shocking diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer has been given to our beautiful Sarah; mum of four children, wife, daughter and sister. Which has rapidly spread to multiple areas of her body.

This diagnosis has come suddenly and has turned life upside down for Sarah and her family. She is currently experiencing significant pain and physical limitations while urgent medical care and treatment decisions are being navigated.

Right now, the priority is stabilising Sarah’s health, managing her pain, and giving her the best possible chance to focus on healing. As part of this, the family is exploring the option of an intensive integrative cancer protocol at Hope for Cancer in Mexico or potentially similar in Australia - time and travel permitting.

In addition to medical and travel costs, one of our biggest hopes is to ease the financial pressure on Sarah’s husband, Daniel, so he can step away from work as much as possible to support Sarah and care for their four children, alongside Robyn and Peter who are in Melbourne providing 100% care and support already. We want to ease the added stress of financial strain during this critical time.

The support received will help to:

• Support Daniel so he can be fully present for Sarah and their children - while she undergoes treatment.

• Cover out of pocket medical expenses including alternative therapies to ensure she responds and recovers quickly.

• Assist with travel and accommodation related to treatment.

• Help with daily household and family expenses.

• Provide stability and care for the children during this incredibly difficult period.

Right now we need clear, swift decisions and the ease of not worrying about day to day expenses.
