Here in New Mexico, we pride ourselves in our drive and our grit, and nothing speaks to this more than our small business community.
During Covid, salons not only fall through the small-business cracks, but they are the first to close and the last to open.
Many folks here in Albuquerque are self-employed or gig economy workers and do not qualify for certain benefits.
Let's make sure our beloved community members stay afloat during these few tough weeks!!
Every dollar you donate will be turned back around and given directly to a salon, barbershop, small business, or gig worker in need.
Here's how it works: folks will fill out a fund request form with a specific amount they need (this amount will have a ceiling - to be determined based on amount raised), and funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
