Save Our Powerlifting Gym: A Community's Lifeline

Since we opened in November 2021, Barbell Alliance, a family owned, has been more than just a gym. It has been a place of solace, a sanctuary, and a lifeline to countless members of our community. It’s a place of where young people of all backgrounds come to together to push their limits, support one another, and build lasting friendships. We are not just training our bodies; we are building confidence, discipline, and a sense of belonging.

Many of our members have shared stories of how this gym has changed their lives. People struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, or loneliness found a place here where they could grow stronger physically, but emotionally. Members expressed “it’s a second home”, “amazing culture of support and community”, “a life saving grace in my most difficult time”. We have witnessed individuals learning to believe in themselves again, all because of the family we’ve built inside these walls.

It is with heavy hearts that we share an unimaginable reality: the potential closure of our beloved gym. Decreased memberships and the rising costs of utilities, supplies, loans, and rent have left us struggling to keep our doors open. Without your support, we may be forced to shut down.
