Save our Oscar
Donation protected
On the 18th of November 2020 at 7 am our beautiful 11 month old Oscar was brutally attacked by two dogs. He is now fighting for his life in surgery. He is too young to die.
Our house backs onto a field and people walk their dogs there. The dog owner let her dogs off the lead and they went after Oscar. The greyhounds tried to rip him apart. If it wasn’t for my brother pulling him away from those dogs he would have been eaten alive. Those dogs shouldn’t be allowed to be on the streets. The dog owner is refusing to pay for what her vicious dogs did but that’s not going to make us give up hope on our boy. The injuries were all over his body from his legs to his lung. His body was mutilated however the vet said that not all hope was lost and that he could survive.
The surgery is £5000 and any help from anyone to raise those funds would be greatly appreciated. My parents work full time and this has now come back to bite us as we are being almost punished for working as the RSPCA do not give financial help to people not on benefits. This is our last hope. If anyone could spare some money to donate to help save our boy it would mean the world to us.
Update: 21:00 18/11/2030
He has made it through the operation. The vet said he has never seen injuries so severe. He has a severely broken and mutilated back paw. Where the dogs bit him it went through into his bladder, intestine, lung and the list goes on. The next 48 hours are the most critical. We are praying that our little fighter pushes through.
