We have momentous news: our lawsuit is now officially being heard by the court. This is the breakthrough we've been fighting for, and it validates the strength of our case. This progress is thanks entirely to your support.

Our fundraising goal is To cover 100% of the legal fees for the two plaintiffs in the pending lawsuit.
Our names are Brandi and Helen, and we are friends of our beneficiaries. They are two longtime residents of our neighborhood who bravely stepped forward to file a legal challenge against the City Council. They are exercising their lawful right to appeal last year’s rezoning decision that sought to clear the way for heavy industrial operations right in the middle of our residential community. To protect their privacy and shield them from any undue pressure during this ongoing legal battle, we are keeping their identities confidential here. Please know they are everyday people, not activists or politicians, who refused to stay silent when our homes and health were put on the line.
How 100% of Your Donation Will Be Used:
Every single dollar you donate will go directly toward paying outstanding legal fees. Specifically, funds will cover:
· Attorney hourly fees for the pursuit of the reversal of the rezoning decision.

We are a community raising funds for attorney fees to fight a microchip manufacturing facility proposed to be built in our neighborhoods.
We presented pages of real, unbiased information to our city council to resist rezoning a plot of land from residential to heavy industrial, and the Council voted against our interests in favor of rezoning and enabling the plant to be built. We now need to fight this decision to keep our community safe.
