URGENT UPDATE: Bridgewater, we're not done.
The Zoning Board has voted to approve the Route 22 self-storage facility. We're disappointed, but we do not accept this decision, and we will keep fighting.
This project is the wrong use for this site and the wrong fit for our community. The floor area ratio the Board approved goes well beyond what our ordinance allows. If it stands, it sets a precedent that weakens Bridgewater's land use rules for every neighborhood and every future application.
We can't do this alone. Last time, you stepped up and gave us an outstanding attorney who made our case with skill and conviction.
With your help, we can keep going.
Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference. Please also share this with a neighbor who cares about what Bridgewater looks like in 20 years.

Why This Still Matters
The proposed development continues to raise serious questions about:
- Excessive floor-area ratio (FAR) and the scale of the proposed facility
- Substantial tree removal and the loss of natural buffers near homes and the Farm Stand
- Inconsistency with Bridgewater’s Master Plan and the intended character of the area
- Increased commercial traffic, congestion, and potential safety impacts on local roads, pedestrians, and school-bus routes
- The broader impact of introducing an industrial-scale self-storage use next to a cherished local business and established residential neighborhoods
Funds raised will support community advocacy and, as needed, the engagement of qualified professionals.
Thank you for standing with your neighbors and for helping ensure that Bridgewater’s future is shaped through thoughtful planning, transparency, and meaningful community input.
