June 7th, 2025 Update: Hello all. Unfortunately, Dumpy has passed on. We made the tough decision after receiving many test results back. Mon and I decided that it was best to send her peacefully on to the next life. She was the best cat I’ve ever met and we are both devastated. We’ve been saying that all her 5 years were “bonus” years as she was destined to die at the dump. She was such a sweetheart and loved to be the centre of attention. Our home is so different and empty without her cute little meows and zoomies. She is greatly missed.

This is Dumpy ❤️

Her name is not an insult; rather it’s a nod to her past. At 2 weeks old Dumpy was found at the dump by my dad (Jim) and the whole family sprung into action to help her survive. She had much greater plans than survival, though! She is now 5 years old. Since the beginning, she has been a force to be reckoned with. Dumpy has brought immense joy to me (Mon) and many others.

All that said, our poor sweet Dumpy is sick and in need of veterinary care. The testing to figure out what’s going on is underway, but the cost is adding up. If you are able and willing to contribute towards her care we would be forever grateful.

Please help us to save Dumpy!
