Hello, my name is Ramadan from Gaza (Palestine). Due to the war in Gaza, my family and I have faced fear, bombings, hunger, and shortages of medicine, water, and food. Especially concerning is the situation as I have elderly parents and a 7-month-old baby.

I need your support to rescue my family (8 members) from death and evacuate them from Gaza. We currently reside in Rafah, including my parents, my wife, and four children. My father is 66 years old, and my mother is 60 years old; both suffer from chronic diseases requiring constant treatment. My mother, in particular, suffers from heart issues, high blood pressure, and knee pain, making access to treatment difficult.

My eldest son, Fathy, is 6 years old, and before the war, he attended kindergarten with his 5-year-old brother, Mohammed. However, due to the war situation, they were forced to drop out. They yearn for the safety of learning and playing with their friends. The constant bombings have instilled fear in them, often leading to night terrors. Fathy also suffered a burn injury while attempting to make bread due to the lack of gas, exacerbated by the shortage of medical supplies.

My daughter, Jory, aged 2.5 years, is also affected by the sounds of bombings, experiencing fear-induced sleep disturbances. Previously playful, she now clings to me for safety, fearing separation during an attack.

My youngest, Nour, is just 7 months old. Procuring essentials like milk, diapers, and clothes has become challenging, as pharmacies and stores are depleted. With winter here, finding warm clothing is crucial to protect my children from the cold.

For five months, we have endured water and food shortages, with scarce availability and exorbitant prices for basic necessities. Many in my family have suffered from gastroenteritis and other illnesses due to these conditions, with treatment obtained only with great difficulty from UNRWA clinics.

To escape Gaza, we require $7,000 per person to cross the Egypt borders, along with additional funds to sustain ourselves until the situation stabilizes. The cost of living for eight people for five months in Egypt amounts to $10,000. Additionally, we need funds for visas and flight tickets to a country that will allow us to immigrate. While I am uncertain of the exact cost, an estimate of $2,500 per person brings the total to $20,000 for our family.
