My name is David Torres, and I’m a volunteer coach for our local Little League baseball team. I’ve been working with these amazing kids for several seasons, and nothing makes me prouder than seeing them grow — not just as athletes, but as teammates, friends, and leaders.

I believe youth sports teach lessons that last a lifetime teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and confidence. That’s why I’m committed to giving our players the best possible experience.

Right now, our pitching machine is out of commission. The high-speed wheels that throw the baseballs have melted and are unusable (see photos). Without it, our kids lose valuable practice time right before fall season starts.

Why it matters:

The pitching machine is a vital training tool. It gives our kids consistent, accurate pitches so they can focus on building confidence and skills. Without it, our ability to prepare for the season is reduced significantly.
