Save Our Lady of the Rosary Church
Donation protected
We are a group of parishioners working together to save our beloved church community at Our Lady of the Rosary, which has served Wilson since 1910 and has been at its current location since 1931.
OLR is slated for permanent closure by the Diocese of Buffalo.
Along with providing the Sacraments, OLR houses the community food pantry and the long-established pre-school.
We believe:
Our community needs a Catholic presence now more than ever.
Wilson is better for the presence of the Catholic faith in the heart of our village, and a serious negative impact will occur if closed forever.
Closing a church forever is a permanent solution to temporary problems, and we believe Our Lady of the Rosary can once again be a thriving church community if given the time and support we need to revitalize our sisters and brothers in Christ.
Please support our legal efforts as we exercise our Right to Recourse and appeal this process through the Diocese of Buffalo, the Dicastery for Clergy, and the Apostolic Signatura in Rome. Any donations above and beyond what our efforts require for this appeal will be donated back to the local food pantry or community.
Above all, we ask for your prayers and your support as we seek to do God's will in saving Our Lady of the Rosary from permanent closure.
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
