SAVE OUR J1 STUDENTS!!!

To all my friends and family, please take the time to read this....
Sometimes we meet people that we refuse to let go of. The faces you see in the attached photo have crept into my heart from the day they got here.
They have come from several different countries to achieve their dreams here. They have been accepted to work within the U.S to gain experience within their own areas of hospitality.
They are all so talented and bring years of experience to the hotel industry. They have left their families and lives to reach for a dream that most foreigners can only wish for.
For all of them, they have risked it all, emotionally and financially to be here. They've saved their whole lives to be a part of the American dream.
These J1 students have endured many hardships prior to coming to America and before they could experience what the States had to offer...enter pandemic. They, along like all other hospitality employees, have been temporarily layed off. Naturally, the first option would be to go back home, BUT this can't happen since the borders to all their countries have been closed.
They are stranded in our country....
Half of them have families who dont know what they are experiencing to avoid further panic within their households at home.
Imagine being an ocean away from home and stranded in a foreign country where the earliest date to go home is "undetermined".
Their fears and tears are real! We will get through this is a hospitality family. I challenge you to get to know them. Each one of them have a special story to tell.
Every single penny will assist them with food, rent, electricity and personal hygiene items.
I know most of us are struggling during these uncertain times, but please find it in your heart to help these beautiful souls who refuse to give up!
Thank you kindly!
