Less than a Week To Save Our Home!

Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. The past six months have been incredibly difficult—both financially and emotionally. I started a new job that never gave me the stability I desperately needed, and no matter how many hours I worked, I still couldn’t keep up. Falling behind on rent became unavoidable, and it led to the heartbreaking decision to leave my apartment and move back home to Massachusetts with my family.

But leaving didn’t erase my struggles. I’m still searching for work, still buried under debt, and worst of all, my absence has left someone I love in an impossible situation.

My ex, who is still my best friend, is now at risk of losing the home we once shared. He’s an incredible human being—one of the hardest-working, kindest people I know—who dedicates his life to saving others through his work in organ donation. And he’s not just fighting for himself. He’s also caring for our beloved dog, Brock, who has been his rock through all of this. The thought of them being evicted, of losing the only stability they have left, is absolutely gut-wrenching.

We have ONE WEEK to stop this eviction. ONE WEEK to make things right before everything falls apart. I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but I have no other option. I’m reaching out to my friends, my family, and even to the kindness of strangers—if you can spare anything, even just a few dollars, it could make all the difference.

And if you can’t donate, I completely understand—sharing this with others or sending words of support would mean the world to me.

I know times are tough for so many people right now, and asking for help is never easy. But I believe in the power of community, in the kindness of people who lift each other up when things get hard.
