Save Our Families on the Northern Border

Hi,

I am fundraising on behalf of my sister's family and her communities' families who live on the northern border of Israel with Lebanon. I live in Los Angeles, CA and will be transferring the money to the families to help them pay for shelter in Jerusalem. They have not gone home in almost three months because it is unsafe there. The children have had to re enroll in local Jerusalem schools and none of the families have been able to return to their homes. They have been sheltering with donations in Jerusalem, but the funds have run out. Please help. They only have until the end of January to raise the money necessary to keep their families safely in Jerusalem. Read more below:

We, the residents of the Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council, who live on the Lebanese border only about 2 km from the border and who are only partially evacuated by donations, are now required to vacate the hotel on January 10, 2024 since the funding by the donations is about to end. This departure will lead to the return of the residents, the children and toddlers, the disabled, and the elderly to the area of the fire when they do not have any shelters. The arrival time to the shelter in our area is immediate. The arrival time to the shelter is impossible for them. Certainly not for the disabled and the elderly. Shelters of 30 square meters where about 7 families are supposed to enter. Shelters that are not accessible at all, to the disabled or to the adults.

Please help us with donations and finding a source of funding to continue protecting the residents and do not allow us to return to being the human shield of the northern area.
