Help Our Coffee Shop Stay Open Until Summer!

This Coffee shop was opened with one simple idea: to create a place where people feel welcome.

Since opening our doors, we’ve watched strangers become regulars, neighbours become friends, and quiet mornings turn into lively afternoons over coffee. What started as a dream has slowly become a real community space — somewhere people meet, celebrate, and unwind.

But like many independent hospitality businesses, our first winter has been incredibly challenging and we are struggling to keep our precious community hub alive.

Between the seasonal slowdown, several unexpected start-up costs and a lot of personal hurdles after opening, we’ve found ourselves under financial pressure during the quietest time of year. These are the kinds of hurdles many new small businesses face — for us they just happened to arrive all at once.

The good news is that we’re SO close to turning the corner.

Longer days, warmer evenings, and busier streets are just around the corner, and we know summer is when places like ours truly come alive. We’re already seeing encouraging signs, and we’re confident that if we can make it through the end of winter and early spring, we’ll be able to sustain ourselves moving forward to continue bringing comfort to our villagers.

That’s why we’ve launched this fundraiser to help us bridge the gap to the busy summer months.

These funds will help cover essential costs including:

• Rent and utilities during the final quiet months

• Outstanding supplier and start-up costs

• Stock and preparation for the busy summer season
