URGENT: Save Our Church Roof – Help Preserve a Sacred Space!

For over 30 years, Qulibie Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has been a spiritual home and cultural haven for Ethiopian and Eritrean families in London, Ontario. Housed in a 100-year-old building, our church has stood strong through prayer, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. Established in 1992 by Ethiopian immigrants, our church was built through years of dedication and sacrifice. In 2006, the community purchased this building with faith and hard work.

Today, we face a critical crisis: our roof is severely leaking, threatening our worship space and community gatherings. Due to its old age, the building is always in need of maintenance. Despite years of fundraising and support from our small congregation, the damage has outpaced our ability to repair. Though buying a newer building is our long-term dream, it is financially out of reach due to high property prices and our small congregation size. We are now reaching beyond our local community—to you, our global family. Your support will help us replace the failing roof and preserve this sacred space for future generations.

አስቸኳይ፡ የቤተክርስቲያናችንን ጣሪያ እንታደግ - የተቀደሰ ቦታችንን ለመጠበቅ ይርዱ!

ቁልቢ ገብርኤል የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ከ30 ዓመታት በላይ በለንደን፣ ኦንታሪዮ፣ ካናዳ የኢትዮጵያውያን እና የኤርትራዊያን ቤተሰቦች መንፈሳዊ ቤት እና የባህል መናኸሪያ ሆና ቆይታለች። ቤተክርስቲያናችን 100 ዓመታትን ያስቆጠረ ህንፃ ውስጥ የተቀመጠ ሲሆን በጸሎት፣በመስዋዕትነት እና በማያወላውል እምነት ጸንታ ቆይታለች። በ1992 በኢትዮጵያውያን መጤዎች የተመሰረተችው ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በ 2006 ህብረተሰቡ ተጋግዞ ይህንን ሕንፃ በእምነት እና በትጋት ገዝቷል.

ዛሬ፣ ከባድ ችግር አጋጥሞናል፡፡ ጣሪያችን በከፍተኛ ሁኔታ እያፈሰሰ፣ የእምነት ቦታችንን እና የማህበረሰብ መሰብሰቢያችንን አስጊ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ጥሎታል። ህንጻውም እድሜ ጠገብ ስለሆነ በየጊዜው እድሳት ይፈልጋል፡፡ ከትንሿ ማህበረሰባችን ለዓመታት ለሚያጋጥሙን ችግሮች ብዙ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ ብናደርግም አሁን ያጋጠመን ችግር ለመወጣት ከአቅማችን በላይ ሆኗል። አዲስ ሕንፃ መግዛት የረዥም ጊዜ ሕልማችን ቢሆንም በቤት ዋጋ ውድነት እና በማህበረሰባችን አነስተኛ ቁጥር ምክንያት እሱን ማሳካት በዚህ ሰአት አንችልም፡፡ አሁን ከአካባቢያችን ማህበረሰብ አልፈን ወደ እናንተ፣ የአለም ቤተሰባችን የእርዳታ ጥሪያችንን እያደረስን ነው። የእርስዎ ድጋፍ እየወደቀ ያለውን ጣሪያችንን ለመቀየር እና የተቀደሰ ቦታችንን ለትውልድ እንድናስተላልፍ ይረዳናል.
