Save our Church Clock
Donation protected
St Anne's Church in the heart of Tottington has just marked it's 225th year. For much of it's history the Church Clock has kept time for us all, chiming on the hour and 1/4 across the parish.
Our church clock dates back to 1919 a rare cast iron flat bed design made by John Smith & Sons from Derby in 1919 situated in the nave of our 1799 Grade II listed building.
It has survived the devastation of the 1944 Christmas Eve V1 bomb, remnants of the damaged clock face are on display at St. Anne's.
Sadly, it has been silent for some time needing some extensive bespoke horological repair to put it right again, hence why we're asking for donations towards restoring it to it's former fully working condition for future generations to come.
