Save Our Cat Tomi

As anyone on here, we never thought we'd need to crowdfund in order to save a life, but the last day has made it clear that in order to save the animal most important to us, we can't do it alone.

We've had our baby giant since he was five months old. Tomi came to us from a woman in need, who was no longer able to take care of him. Since last year, this 5 kilo orange and white giant has traveled the world with us. From Zagreb to Beograd, he has accompanied us every step of the way, spreading love and biting whoever disturbs his sleep.

Tomi recently broke his femur and the damage to his nerves might not be reparable. This adventurous kitty has never seen winter, and when he unwittingly slipped off an icy high ledge and couldn't move his back legs, we realized that this was serious. Upon rushing him to the emergency vet, we were given the worst news possible.

According to the emergency veterinarian there is a good possibility the damage to the nerves is too much, and there is a possibility that even with surgery to the femur he might not regain use of his back leg. He will need surgery to amputate his leg should the procedure be impossible. Unfortunately, we simply cannot pay for this out of pocket and need to rely on the good hearts of strangers to save Tomi's life and future mobility. All donations will go to the procedure.

We want to thank you in advance for your kindness. This cat has crossed so many borders, seen so many sights, and accompanied us on so many adventures that the thought of not having him in our future is not a thought at all. We count on your help to save Tomi.
