Save our cat Jade

Last Friday our cat was run over. He was near the front tire of our SUV as my husband was pulling in the garage. Jade has black fur, and is hard to see, and my husband accidentally ran over him. My husband feels terrible about it. He said as soon as he heard him scream he backed up and poor Jade ran across the driveway with his two back legs dragging on the ground behind him and he laid in the grass on the side of the driveway.
We rushed him to the vet. They did an xray and his back left femur was broken, and they saw the pelvis was fractured but could not tell the extent of the damage until they did a frontal view xray. I prayed and prayed for him that day (it was also the Feast of St Francis, and I think Francis spared him for us that day). He had no damage to his bladder or intestines, but he has several fractures in his bones. We received an estimate, and that is what the money would be used for-his surgery. He has 5-6 pelvic fractures, and he broke his hind left femur. He has a 10 week recovery period after the surgery and he will need a low lip on one edge of his litter box so that he can crawl into it just using his front two legs until he is able to walk again. I will take care of him and help him recover. We love our cat so much. He is so sweet, loves to cuddle, and follows us around all the time like a puppy dog. He is very loving and loves to be around people-even people he doesn't know. He's always been in great shape. He can be helped, but it is going to cost more than what we have. We have five kids and cannot afford his surgery. We all would be so very very grateful if you can help us. He is having one surgery today, and hopefully will not need a second surgery for the right side of his pelvis. They won't know until after the first surgery. Thank you so much, and God bless you.
