*SAVE OUR BOY HUNTER*

- After what we can only describe as a terribly tragic accident at home between a family member and our dog, Hunter - he has been seized by the police and ordered to be destroyed. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

 

Hunter was upstairs in bed with a family member, who after going to the bathroom, stumbled and fell on top of him. As he suffers with sleep startle reactions, and was woken suddenly, he obviously thought he was in danger and needed to protect himself. He reacted in a fearful and defensive way that sadly caused injury to the family member. As soon as Hunter came around from his sleep and realised he was safe, he immediately stopped. Due to the injury an ambulance was called, who then contacted the police / dog warden leading to our boy to be seized! Hunter was confused and scared, he was shaking and had even defecated on the floor in the bedroom. This is a tragic accident and Hunter has never done anything like this before, nor would he intentionally harm anyone or any other dog.

Our boy Hunter is 3 tomorrow 26/2/22. 
He is part of our family, he's the most loving & loyal dog there is! He's good with every single dog he meets and humans, he hasn’t a bad bone in his body, he’s good with all our nieces and nephews, he even allows them to climb all over him when they see him! He is just the perfect dog!!

 

We can't allow the authorities to do this, they can't get away with this lack of due-diligence, because if the correct behavioural tests had been carried out, they'd know Hunter is not aggressive in the slightest. He is loving and loyal, and we cannot let this young boy be destroyed for an innocent and tragic accident that happened inside of our home, and where the family member has made a full recovery.

 

Hunter is a big boy, we know this, but he is a big bundle of joy and positive energy, he is our best friend, he's more than just a dog! He is a part of the family, and we need your support here to help bring him home, where he deserves to be, and where he is safe and cared for, and able to go on living the life he deserves, with us, at home!
