Help Save Our Beloved Shelter Island Preschool!

**If our goal is met, we will be partnering with the Town of Shelter Island to provide a substitute program in the afternoons from 11am-2pm to make up for the loss of the PreK3 Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The partnership of these two programs will provide childcare coverage for working families from 8am-2pm.**

For 45 wonderful years, our small preschool on Shelter Island has been a place where young islanders begin their lifelong journey of learning, friendship and discovery. Generations of island families have passed through our doors, trusting us to nurture and teach their children in a warm, safe and supportive environment.

But now, we need your help.

Like many small, community-based schools, we are facing significant financial challenges, rising operational costs, as well as a low enrollment year. As you know, on Shelter Island, this can fluctuate but we are determined to not let that effect our program and continue to provide the preschool experience that every child deserves.
