Help Save Our Fire Annex–Essential for Emergency Response
Donation protected
Our fire annex is in urgent need of repairs, and we need your support! This building is critical—not only for storing our wildfire response gear, structural protection equipment, and emergency water trailer—but also for our future plans of transforming it into a fitness and training facility for our members.
Physical fitness is a critical component of being an effective firefighter, in all three aspects of our response, structural fire, wildfire, and medical. The demands of the job—carrying heavy gear, navigating hazardous environments, and performing rescues—require strength, endurance, and agility. Maintaining peak fitness ensures not only personal safety but also the ability to support and protect teammates and the public. Being physically fit reduces chances of heart attacks, strokes and more.
