Here we are again, closed for another month! It’s hard to believe that once more we have to fundraise for our beautiful animals! We haven’t yet recovered from the last lockdown and here we are yet again. We don’t have any reserves and we are facing a very bleak November. To keep our farm going over this next month we need to fundraise desperately! So we have reopened this fundraiser. We can't beat around the bush. Without people booking tickets to come to the farm, we don't have an income and our animals can't be fed or receive vital medical care. Many of our animals are rescues - goats, sheep, ponies, chickens, ducks and many more. To raise funds to feed them all, we also normally take our alpacas to care homes to visit the elderly and work with people with additional needs such as autism and severe anxiety. Of course these people are all in the 'at risk' category so we haven’t been able to do these visits for 8 months! Now that we can no longer do alpaca walks or animal therapy visits, we are very, very worried. We are totally family run and rely 100% on income generated from the farm. There is no government help for us and as self employed people we won't be entitled to any kind of financial help for food for the animals let alone food and support for our human family!  We have to be honest, we are very worried. We have one weeks worth of food for the animals and that’s it. A month is a long time on a farm. Plus on top of this we have our own children to feed too.  We know you are all having a hard time of this too. But just in case one person reading this feels they could help keep us afloat, we felt we just had to ask.
