Save our 7mo old Mister Charlie! Please

Hi there,

We are hoping and praying to raise funds in order to cover the cost of emergency care for our beloved puppy Mr. Charlie.

As a 7mo old puppy Charlie is usually a very happy and energetic pup that loves his toys. At 70lbs already it can be very difficult to find toys that stand up to his aggressive chewing, and it appears that he has ingested something that is partially obstructing and irritating his bowels and causing him to decline and withdraw. He's not eating or having bowel movements but the hospital will not admit him without a deposit of $2700. We have already spent every dollar we can come up with on short notice to cover the costs of exam fees, multiple x-rays, subcutaneous fluids, antimetic and probiotic medication, and additional testing to rule out viral and parasitic infection. Our next step is an ultrasound, then potential abdominal surgery as a last resort. Surgery costs are estimated to be between $5000-7000 and unfortunately we don't qualify for Care credit or Scratch pay. We lost our other dog from cancer in November, and we lost our 15 year old tortoise on Dec. 26 as a result of a prolapse that could not be surgically corrected. We are emotionally and financially drained and are creating this fundraiser as a last resort to help our puppy who means the absolute world to us. We know this time of year can hard, and we truly appreciate any assistance at all, even if that is just sharing this fundraiser to help widen the audience. He is a mix breed of Great Pyrenees, Akita, Labrador, and German Shepherd, and his birthday is May 28, 2022.
