Preserving a Piece of History — Spring Hill Baptist Church
Spring Hill Baptist Church, founded in 1803 and built in 1859, stands as a treasured part of our community’s history. For over a century, its walls have witnessed worship, fellowship, and the lives of generations.
Today, this historic landmark is in urgent need of restoration. The tin roof requires full replacement, and extensive painting and wood repairs are needed to protect the structure from further damage. Unfortunately, the church is not currently in operation, resulting in a lack of steady funding for these essential repairs.
A committed group of volunteers has formed a preservation committee to seek assistance—whether through financial contributions, donated materials, or skilled labor. Our shared goal is to save and restore this irreplaceable building so that it may continue to stand for future generations as a testament to our community’s heritage.
Your support—whether in funds, resources, or time—will help keep this important piece of history alive.
